KILL EVERYBODY: American soldier exposes US policy in Iraq

Please note that all militaristic comments will be trashed with great prejudice. Anyone who wants to support the War in Iraq on this blog can go fuck themselves.

Transcript from part of this video:

“We lost 135 guys, we can kill people now. We were ordered, when fired upon, hunker down, with radio, waiting for orders to return fire. In April, they told us, ‘in a crowded area, if one person shoots at you, kill everybody.’ Because, they are letting them attack you. They are no longer innocent if they’re there at the time of the crime. Sounds like a criminal rule. If your buddy commits a crime and you’re there, you caught up on charges on it. But these aren’t charges, these are DEATHS.

We’re killing people because they’re there when someone else attacked us, because we believe that if we kill enough innocent people, they will stop the people from attacking us. But what they don’t realize is, the people we killed, it was their brother, it was their uncle that was trying to kill us, because we already killed his three children.

You roll into Baghdad, every single big apartment building is blown up. Every single apartment building in Baghdad has been broken to the ground by artillery and airplanes bombing.

You cannot meet someone in Iraq who has not lost a family member. Could you imagine what we’d have done in America if in 9/11 everybody in America lost a family member? Would we be TALKING about war? No, we’d be in the streets with weapons. And so people talk about, ‘these people killed an American soldier in Iraq, they’re terrorists.’ They’re not terrorists, they’re wearing sandals, and they got an AK, and they have 14 year old boys building bombs to kill those American soldiers because we’ve killed their family.”

Ex-US Army Specialist Darrell Anderson, fought in Iraq.

  1. He’s absolutely correct…but the real tragedy only comes when we finish his statements by asking: “Yeah, and for what?”

The answer is that so America petroleum companies can replace the French and Soviet petroleum companies which operate the oil fields and refine and ship the petroleum.

Let’s just be honest…there would be both more successful candidates, as well as one more desperately needy, than Iraq to start out with if we really were just “advancing the cause of Democracy”–which of course, seems to have been abandoned even as lip service by the war criminals in the Bush Adminsitration.

  2. Unfortunately this doesn’t surprise me.
When I first heard the term “counter-insurgency” being used, I knew what was then going on in Iraq.

    “Counter-insurgency” = Kill Everybody. Literally.

Apparently, that’s also the new definition of “liberation”.

  3. fuck the troops!( murdering pukes)
