Happy Hiroshima Memorial Day!

Today is the anniversary of the Hiroshima Genocide by the US Army. In a few seconds, 70,000 innocent civilians- men, women, children- died for the crime of being Japanese in one of the most blatant acts of genocide in world history.

I didn’t prepare anything for this occasion, but here is a post from Rad Geek People’s Daily commemorating the occasion.

As far as I am aware, the atomic bombing of the Hiroshima city center, in which forces acting on behalf of the United States government deliberately targeted a civilian center and killed over half of all the people living in the city at the time, remains the deadliest act of terrorism in the history of the world.

Incidentally, if I had still been an Objectivist at the time, this 2006 diatribe on Capitalism Magazine would have probably gotten me to curse Ayn Rand and decapitate her corpse. Any ideology which can support and justify such an irrational and horrifyingly immoral conclusion must be eradicated from the Earth.

  1. Holy fuck can I post comments here now without having to remember those gay random wordpress passwords? Awesome!

Anyway let’s celebrate the most terrorist country ever in recorded history: The United States of America. The only country ever to use nukes in aggression against another country!

  2. Yes Aaron, I changed the settings for you.

  3. My prayers have been answered… there IS a God!

  4. Mainstream Objectivists are friggin’ nuts. And their anti-Rothbard rants are a hoot (the man was a “treasonous, commie-hugging bastard,” doncha know).

  5. “The only country ever to use nukes in aggression against another country!”

    Absolutely!

The randian diatribe of 2006 is a fucking piece of garbage!

  6. And these people arrived at the conclusion that the deaths of hundereds of thousands of innocent human beings could be considered moral how?

God, excuse the language, but the Objectivists need to get their shit straight.
