There is a huge debate to do on the question of copyright laws and the new models of market that could be more profitable for creators of “cultural goods”. Concrete application of a (true) decentralized and free market are now easily possible because of the new technologies. I think that it’s important for left libertarians to defend the idea that the solution to the current “crisis” of the music and film industry doesn’t lie in the use of authoritarian actions. We need to build a free market that is not ruled by corporations like Sony, Universal, Warner (who are making illegitimate use of modern copyright law to obtain property and profit from authors work), but by the artists and those who creates the “cultural goods”.

Out of curiosity, do you know where this originated? I’m pretty sure I saw it on The Pirate Bay a while ago.
