An immoral, arrogant Objectivist bitch on: Memorial Day.

There is a good reason why Objectivism is considered a deep character flaw. What can one say to such immoral nonsense, propagated by Objectivist warhawks who deny the very fundamentals of freedom while preaching it?

Well, I am too outraged to say anything about it, but Lysander Spooner had a thing or two:

The principle, on which the [Civil War] was waged by the North, was simply this: That men may rightfully be compelled to submit to, and support, a government that they do not want; and that resistance, on their part, makes them traitors and criminals.
No principle, that is possible to be named, can be more self-evidently false than this; or more self-evidently fatal to all political freedom.

All the great governments of the world… have been mere bands of robbers, who have associated for purposes of plunder, conquest, and the enslavement of their fellow men. And their laws, as they have called them, have been only such agreements as they have found it necessary to enter into, in order to maintain their organizations, and act together in plundering and enslaving others, and in securing to each his agreed share of the spoils.

Fuck the American Empire. Fuck the Union. Fuck all governments. Fuck the statist notion of “freedom” predicated on enslaving us to a government we do not choose.

And shame on all Objectivists warhawks who promote murder and genocide in the name of “freedom.” I would spit on every single one of them, if I had enough saliva, and if they deserved the time for me to do so. But since no one takes them seriously, they don’t.

Hey Franc (it’s me, Cork, from SilentRadical’s blog)

Yep, you hit the nail on the head. An Objectivist regime would make Hitler and Stalin look like pikers. There was an Objectivist douchebag on O’Reilly’s show a while back, who was so batshit insane that even O’Reilly was frightened by his advocacy of mass genocide.

Francois, I share your passion and understanding of why the union was so wrong to have fought a war to make sure the people of the south (and the north) remained under their boot. I honestly believe that Lincoln, Sherman and Grant should have been tried as war criminals and executed. If anybody asks me who I think was the worst president ever, I will unhesitantly answer: Abraham Lincoln. But you only cheapen your argument by resorting to profane insults against those who, like Ms. Hsieh, have been led astray by the cult of Objectivism. It would have been much better to simply make a rational argument against their collectivist nonsense and leave it at that.

    Yes, I suppose I shouldn’t call her a bitch: I don’t know her lineage.

I agree with you about the government being full of shit . And especially lately. Hemp was outlawed in the 30s because it competed with other industries. But you wont hear that theory on the History chanell. And the govt continues to make marijuana illegal , yet it allows abortions. Wait…Didn’t you say it was my body? Land of the free my fucking ass bitch!! I do disagree with you about the civil war. My view is that the govt of the south was even more corrupt and evil for wanting to keep blacks enslaved. Your analogy is plausible yet it falls short in that aspect. tootles.
