Democracy works!

Kim Jong-il, the North Korean leader, has been re-elected to the country’s parliament in elections that have been closely watched for hints as to his possible successor.

In an unsurprising result Kim was re-elected by voters in Constituency 333 with 100 per cent support, the official KCNA news agency said on Monday.

The report said voters renewed their “unshakable determination to devotedly safeguard” the North Korean leader.

Another proof of democracy’s eminent workability. You get the options they want you to have, and when they only want you to have one option, then by Jove you better take it!

Even if hate democracy, I don’t think this is a democracy.

Democracy have to have at least TWO choices to “work” (sic). It’s less shitty but it sucks too!

For example, in Québec, people prefers decentralized federalism to centralized federalism and separatism, but the centralist federalists win always facing the separatists.

But what’s the difference between one democracy leaving you only one option, and another democracy leaving you only two or three options that are basically the same?

Not a big difference, for sure!
