Pimps want you to stop thinking about prostitution!

The image above is part of a pro-legalization campaign which aims to normalize prostitution (“sex work”) by portraying its victims as happy, fulfilled, regular people. Never mind that 67% of women prostitutes experience PTSD and that 90% of women prostitutes report wanting to leave prostitution as their most pressing need. Prostitution is a job like any other job!

But there’s much, much worse. This marketing campaign was started by a bunch of pimps.

Turn off the Blue Light claimed to represent Irish ‘sex worker’ activists:

“Turn Off the Blue Light is a grassroots movement ….We are a sex worker led association campaigning against calls to criminalize the purchase of sex, and for the health, safety, human, civil and labor rights of sex workers in Ireland…”

But look who’s actually running the Blue Light campaign. It’s backed by convicted pimp Peter McCormick, who makes millions annually via prostitution websites, his son who was convicted of running six brothels, convicted pimp TJ Carroll, who used voodoo rituals to terrify trafficked African women, and convicted pimp Tony Linnane who was connected with an incident where a woman was “threatened with being burned alive after gasoline was thrown on her.” Mihai Selaru, who humiliated a woman he pimped by starving her and forcing her to lick his shoes, was also connected.

Oh, great, another way to legalize slavery. As if we don’t have enough of that going on anyway.

Don’t let the sex-pozzies hear you! They’ll hurt your feelings!

I really had to laugh at that.

I would like to decriminalize prostutition, and have public hanging be the punishment for pimps, and those who profit from the sexual use of another. As always, follow the money.

I could not have articulated these arguments in a more direct manner. By the way, I admire your reconciliation of radical feminism with anti-natalist philosophy. It is a shame that numerous anti-natalists are misogynists…I suppose we all have our dogmas.

Yes, some antinatalists are misogynists. Some radfem are also protectors of the mother-nurturer myth, as weird as that sounds. So there is tension on both sides; but I think there is far more similarity than there is difference.

    Their actions are truly wretched…

Yes, a lot of those organizations are led by pimps. They do everything they can to silence the voice of the ex-prostituted. They are truly evil.

I mourn for Ireland and other countries.
