“The assumption that dialogue solves all problems is naive”

One common tactic used by authorities against revolts, especially student revolts, is that “they just don’t want to come and discuss the situation.” Of course that’s usually been going on for years and years and nothing ever gets done by discussing with such people. Well-intentioned liberals always ask how we can “educate” haters. Elite haters don’t need “education”; they need to be challenged.
